Jobs for the Future, Normalizing Education Collective: The Collective will support the growth of high-quality postsecondary education in prison programs across multiple education partners across the country. It is a timely initiative aimed at fostering increased collaboration and capacity-building among postsecondary leaders who are driving transformative change in prison education. This work comes in response to the reinstatement of Pell Grants for incarcerated learners in July 2023.

The New Jersey Scholarship and Transformative Education in Prisons Program: The New Jersey Scholarship and Transformative Education in Prisons (NJ-STEP) initiative is an association of higher education institutions in New Jersey that works in partnership with the New Jersey Department of Corrections and Parole Board.
Provides higher education courses toward a college degree for students while they are incarcerated.
Assists with student transition to college life upon release from prison.
The Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program: International network of trained faculty, students, alumni, think tanks, higher education and correctional administrators trained to utilize an innovative pedagogical approach to facilitate dialogue across difference.
Connects campus-based students and incarcerated students for a semester-long course inside of a prison, jail, or other facility.
Received a 7-day pedagogical training inside of a maximum security prison.
